Chester Wisniewski is an information security professional who has worked in the security industry for more than 20 years and took it on as a hobby more than 30 years ago. Starting out with a 300 baud modem and evolving through BBSs, syncing FIDONet, and using UUCP for early internet access. Chester recognized the vulnerability inherent in connecting systens together without regard for security and privacy and began his security journey. Through his work at Sophos, Chester acts as an advisor to security professionals around the world as well as conducting research to inform the media, companies and governments as to the latest threats, defences and mitigations to keep people and data safe.
